Just havent spend any tiome on this page at all since .. august! ( Damn ) Im not going to promise a whole lot of activity either since im currently having my hands full with other stuff, more on that later.

For now, i just wish everyone a (delayed ) happy newyear and merry christmas :)

WordPress 2.6 is out

and it has been for quite some time, since im pretty much slacking around doing real life stuff since i totally quit wow ( again ) i haven’t gotten around to upgrading my current wordpress yet.

RC Helicopter and a new RC Car is taking up pretty much all the “spare time” i have when not attending my girlfriend and daughter.

It should be upgraded shortly, and perhaps ill even throw in a few pics of the RC car and the chopper, after all theres a nifty new gallery built into wordpress 2.6 !

Over the next days/weeks the page will probably change it looks back and forth between various styles etc.

Got a bit tired of looking at the imac theme i had, so decided to brush it up, meanwhile im looking for alternatives :)

Other than that, nothing exciting happend lately, except my daughter keeps growing etc, read more about that ( in danish ) here though.

Getting in shape!

For far too long i have kept my self convinced i was all good. But not too long ago i somehow convinced my self otherwise, that i was get fat and sloppy !

Instead of just crying on and on about it, i wanted to do something, so i made up this program of activities that i should do once a day, to shape up a bit. It failed :( Did not have the motivation or anything.

So, around 14 days ago, a friend of mine was visiting, we pitched a few baseballs ( with gloves and stuff bought at Times Square in NY when we visited the US in 2004 :D ) and had a few beers. We talked a bit about it, and he just recently starting swimming again after a short break. So i decided to jump along and start swimming as well. And for some unknown reason, i suddenly feel extremely motivated to do something!

So i changed my working schedule so that i meet 8.30 each day, allowing me to get up 06.00 to ride my bike 7.8 kilometers from home to Aarhus Swim stadium, where we then swim for roughly 45 minutes, and i then ride my bike the remaining 5.6 kilometers to work. And once I’m off from work, i ride the 12.8 kilometers home as well.

I’m starting to feel the change already, my weight has increased significantly, fat turning into muscles i assume :) And i have a lot more stamina than just two weeks ago. Right now its not really something mesurable, i need to get in shape first, then i can always start going for a certain distance when swimming for a certain amount of time etc.

Black staturday for danish soccer

The title says it all really, after a very nice soccer game (some call it football, i call it soccer!) Denmark was behind 0-3 after 25 minutes, and fought our way back to 3-3 versus Sweden. In the 89th minute, a Swedish player, allegedly, tried to hit Christian Poulsen twice, and after that Christian Poulsen had enough, and punched him in the stomach. This resulted in a penalty kick for Sweden. As a reaction to that, guy with a danish soccer shirt run on the field and punched the German referee in the face! Which resulted in the judge ending the fight, and most likely UEFA will penalize Denmark for that by letting it be a 0-3 defeat =/

Bad thing is, every year you usually make some kind of silly promise .. and 2007 for me .. is gonna be a tough one, you’re suppose to let everyone know what you promised to attain, i wont though .. at least not for now :)
