Missed the bus ..
Because i was a slowpoke, and somehow manged to forget my subscription card at home. So i had to go back from the bus stop, to the basement, to get my bike, also known as “Black Lightning”. Then i could start the horrible ride to work on that. Too bad, because i was really sore in my legs after riding that damn bike yesterday. Good thin i have my Sony Ericsson W800i with MP3 man built in:) It does make that 45 minute bike ride a bit more pleasant :D
Server 3 offline ..
forever! The electrical bill ain’t getting smaller .. so i decided to kill/sell some hardware .. started out with:Server 3 (BNC & Shell) [1.8 GHz P4 with 256 DDR RAM 40GB HD running Debian].Decided that the need for a shell was not as big as it once was, besides, i have a shell elsewhere i can use when i really need to.I “sold” this to a friend for a 33cl Coca Cola ;)Vacation is over ..
and I’m back at work. Having a little trouble getting back in gear ;). But eventually i guess i will get back in the zone again. I have no real plans for this week, i guess i expect to be totally wasted when i get home from work, since i haven’t moved a finger for 21 days .. hehe. Anyways, still fooling around with this web page a bit. And oh, almost forgot, will be closing down some of my servers .. electricity bill is growing ;)Raid0 x 2
So .. i finally got my new hardware! And after a struggle with several 3,5″ floppy drives, i finally found one that actually worked :S I ended up ripping the floppy drive out of my work pc, since i don’t use it at all anyways :D
Anyways, i got the disks installed, and all that, and just finished the last bit of tweaking on my newly installed windows xp ;)
