Copenhagen Zoo
So, last weekend i had the chance to visit Copenhagen Zoo, and i took a load of pictures off course. Which you can see here below.
Its funny, as much as i like to see the animals, im still despised by the fact that we keep animals imprisoned, just for us humans to stare and moan! On the other hand, it makes more people aware of many of these magnificent animals. So for the greater good, and for the sake of education i guess i accept it.
But looking at for instance the Leopard in Copenhagen Zoo, gave me the same vomiting, tear pressuring feeling as when i watched a Tiger in captivity in Phuket Zoo in Thailand. It was wandering back and forth on a 4 meter stretch, as if it had gone crazy. Only difference is, the Tiger in Phuket on had 3 meters to walk on, they leopard had a huge cage that was ~8×15 meters. Still don’t justify keeping the animal captive like that.
I think i will need to visit Ree Dyrepark soon, supposedly, the animals have very large outdoor areas they can run around in, and act somewhat normal. I know their cheetahs are fed with the food being dragged at 65 mph, so they at least have the chance to stretch their muscles.

Far Cry 2 absolutly rocks
Im not gonna write a review or anything, my opinion on this great game though is, one should really try it. Sure the world is not s “free” and “destructible” as claimed pre-launch.
But it is a great looking game in a very nice scenery. There is a few things one could argue about in the game, like the respawn timer on guard posts, personally i dont find it that hard to get around them. What i do hate is, they have vegetation in the game, but its useless for cover against the NPCs, they see right through it :(
Currently im ~56% complete with the single player main quest, but i fancy taking side mission for diamonds, so i can buy and try all weapons :)

Update: I completed the game last night ( 04.11.2008 ) and i love it. Last picture shows my “stats” in-game.

Got a “new” car ..
I survived, walked away without a scratch!
Fuck, shit, crap, holy mother of god, dammit .. a lot of those words went through my head in the seconds from i realized i was going to crash.
I was driving on the superhighway after a night dive with my spear gun, and suddenly something jumped out in front of me, i think it was a deer. I yanked the car to the left, then my left wheel set was in the rabate, and i counter steered a bit too rough, and within a split second i was sideways on the superhighway with a speed of ~110 km/h and the car started rolling. I THINK i was doing like 6-7 rounds before the car was “parked” upside down on a hilltop with me hanging upside down.
Somehow i manged to stay calm, and get out of the car, pull all my belongings and dive gear out of the car. Then i called around to get someone to pick me up, and after 5 minutes a kind taxi driver stopped and came to see if i was okay, he helped me pull some stuff out of the car and took me into hes taxi to get warm while waiting for a friend i called for.
Within the seconds i rolled, i got to think over my life, good bad all that stuff .. and somehow i feel incredibly changed because of these 10 seconds of insane action last night.

I just want to add .. life is fucking great, enjoy it while it lasts!
Update: I added another bunch of pictures from earlier today when i was out picking up my last few belongings from the wreck.
Update2: Parents came by today, so i get to dive the car, and we went to the crash site , and after seeing it, i feel even luckier, from what i could see the car had mowed down 2 x 10 inch think poles on the top of the hill, and the 3rd pole stopped the car from rolling further. Its just incredible that i was able to walk away from this accident. Its somehow hard to belive i was actualyl in the damned car when it happend.
