Samsoe
Been back at work for two days, and i already hate it =/ I was just getting used to my holiday :)
My girlfriend and me went to Samsoe from 28th july to 4th august. We had a nice holiday, not the best weather in the world. You could be sarcastic and call it a typical danish summer i guess :(
We had a few visitors, and were actually quite social on our vacation :) My girlfriends parents visited for a day, and we saw the northern part of the island. And then after that we had a few days to ourselves :)
Wednesday evening a pair of our friends+ daughter came to visit us. The girls, all three of them, could be social, and Jesper and I went for some underwater spear-gun hunting. We did not have the luckiest dives on the planet, and the weather was pretty much against us, but we had a nice time diving and talking etc.

Third outdoor freedive!
After going on the first outdoor free dive, almost two weeks ago, i went on another free dive with a buddy just last week.
However, last night i was on my first Underwater Hunt with a good friend. We drove to sea, and took a 2 hour swim where we hunted for fish, and i made my first kill with a spear gun :) After that we took a 3 hour break, grabbed a pizza, to restock on energy, before we took a night dive. On the night dive we shoot several fish and it was a thrilling experience, guaranteed not to be the last :D
Cinema trip!
Tonight I’m going to the cinema with a buddy, were going to watch Transformers, and after that we will take a look at Die Hard 4.0, also known as Live Free or Die Hard.
After reading a mixed variety of reviews of both movies, i don’t know what to expect, as long as I’m entertained.. then who gives a fu*k ? ;) I know i don’t! Tomorrow i will fill in my personal opinion on both movies.
Thats just about all I’m gonna do today :) Besides chilling a bit of GTR2 with my Logitech MOMO Wheel ;)
UPDATE: Well, both movies were my taste, so i actually liked them both. Sad thing though, that Die Hard 4.0 was made PG13, no more blood, no MacClane smoking, and no more bad cursing. Transformers was a nice action movie with a lot of special effects. I liked it, some hate it =/
Dive-mania..
Ever since i was in Turkey, sometime in 2004, where i for the first time tried SCUBA diving, i have been more or less obsessed with the thought of diving. February 2007, whilst being in Thailand, my dream came through, i dived around the national park on Phi Phi Ley in Thailand, and became a certified PADI Open Water Diver. This was most likely the most thrilling experience i ever had in my life, at the time being ( now its the though of beeing a father ), therefor i guess its natural to do some more of it :)
A while ago a friend of mine, whom i was roadtripping the US with in 2004, asked me if i wanted to come dive in Egypt later this year. I think it was about the same time as i talked with him about going to US in 2008 to dive actually. Anyways, he asked, and i was extremely thrilled about it. Now, that’s just one step closer, i asked another god friend of mine if he wanted to come along, since at this time we were 3 guys, and when diving you need to be paired, since you always have a buddy, and he did :)
So, i booked the trip yesterday, and payed the deposit, and today i went to a local dive shop called Quatre Force Diving here in Aarhus and bought a mask, fins and a snorkel as well. Plus some other mask for free diving, since i also have taken a interest in underwater hunting ( snorkeling, and then diving with one breath of air, armed with a speargun ). I simply cannot wait to get going. I ordered some gear ( weight belt etc. ) over the internet, which should arrive Friday, and perhaps i can get to test it during the weekend :)
Also, im curently considering taking the Advanced Open Water Diver course with PADI as well.
